Type Of Cover
- All terms, conditions and limitations as per Adamjee’s standard Fire & Allied Perils policy wording and clauses attached thereon.
- Burglary & Housebreaking and/or mysterious disappearance of any item is excluded.
- Precious items including Jewelry, Gems, Precious metals & stones, watches, work of art, cellphones, cash and negotiable instruments are excluded.
- Loss or Damage to the residential property / assets rising due to land dispute is expressly excluded from the scope of this cover.
- The risk of terrorism is excluded and the resulted fire from terrorism is also excluded.
- The building is of Pucca Construction (RCC / Class-I) and is occupied as purely residential purpose only.
- Communicable disease endorsement.
- This cover is valid for contents only situated in premise occupied for residential purpose only.
- Rural areas are excluded.
- Warranted that any loss &/or damage caused by rain water directly coming through windows &/or ventilators kept open by leakage from the roof or by seepage from the walls/floor/roofs of the premises insured and/or by sweating or moisture damage are not covered.
- Atmospheric Disturbance is not covered in Open, Open-shed, Basement and Second-Class Construction.
- All losses of Fire to be reported immediately to police/fire brigade and FIR/ fire brigade report sought.
- Premium Payable at inception, as per premium payment clause. Premium is payable before issuance of Policy as per rule 58 of Insurance Rules 2017-SRO 89(I)/2017.
